PINK MOTOR DAY:
WOMEN LEADING THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

An event that turned the spotlight or rather โ€œthe high beamsโ€ on the world of mobility and motors from the point of view of the professionals who work in this sector every day. A clear and decisive imprint already starting from the illustration, inspired by the self-portrait of the painter Tamara de Lempicka and created for this specific purpose by the comic artist Lelio Bonaccorso , as the cover not only of Fleet Magazine, but of the entire event.

The binomial “Women and Motors” is always strengthened because more and more women today hold fundamental and extremely important roles in theย  automotive industry even if there is still a long way to go in order to obtain greater awareness of how much a more intense female presence can be increase business productivity. And it is precisely in this perspective that the Fleet Magazine in collaboration with the Top Thousand Observatory and with the patronage of UNRAE and ANIASA organized – on April 14, 2022 – the first edition of Pink Motor Day, attended by 70 guests, thus marking a pleasant return to the physical event.

Pink Motor Day - Women leading the Automotive industry

location for live streaming events in Milan

To kick off the works Irene Facheris, trainer, writer and expert on gender studies coordinated – from the Yori Studio Space – a meeting divided into four panels – broadcast also live streaming by the team of videofreelance.tv – which saw the intervention of fleet managers , entrepreneurs, engineers, opinion leaders, but also students and women with different roles and experiences within the world of four wheels, but all sharing the same passion and determination. Among them also two anchor women of Italian journalism, a point of reference for all car and motor enthusiasts, the journalists Maria Leitner (TG2 Motori) and Carlotta Adreani (TG5 Start – Technology and Mobility).

To give the electrifying and fascinating atmosphere typical of an automotive event, a Maserati Grecale and a Nissan Ariya – positioned respectively in the Lounge and Light Spaces – highlighted by rigorously “pink” lights thanks to our RGB Par Led on Americans and portable Smart BatHEX. An evocative and immersive scenario that was also the background to the interviews and in-depth reports of the present journalists. Guests and speakers were able to meet and discuss the issues addressed during the meeting, accompanied by a rich buffet aperitif – proposed by Area Kitchen catering – set up in the Color Space, which thanks to its home-feeling mood lends itself to hosting moments of conviviality and networking.

No space of the venue was left to chance: even the Outdoor Area has been properly customized to ensure the involvement of guests from the moment they enter in 10 Watt. Colored lights, promotional totems and what we consider the undisputed novelty of this event: the holographic projections. In a previous article we had already talked about how it is possible to use this technology to enrich the set-up but also the experience during the event and on the occasion of the Pink Motor Day, thanks to the collaboration with Archรจ – Touch the Future , we were able to integrate the hologram technology inside one of the external display cases in our courtyard. Between the amazement and the rapt looks of the participants who could not understand how it was possible to “materialize” 2D and 3D contents, the holographic fan, combined with the reflective effect of the mirrors already installed in the display case, allowed to add that extra hi-tech touch that helped to create a decidedly wow-effect automotive event.

The perfect mood to explore the new mobility challenges of the future, but also the desires and needs of women at the wheel.
